LONDON, Aug 10 — Planning to hold a barbecue and inviting friends over?

SortedFood recommends six hacks that will give your barbecue an extra oomph, or help you clean up the mess after.

One top tip that you may find surprising is to add a dollop of mayonnaise into your burger mix, along with softened onions, herbs and spices.

The addition of the mayonnaise will keep the burger juicy. Mix well and shape into patties, making sure to indent the middle.
