Food writer Fay Khoo dies at 48

KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 — Multi-hyphenate Fay Khoo who will be best remembered for her food critiques died in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, The Star Online reported today.

It is understood that the 48-year-old had been battling lung cancer.

The Sydney-based, Penang-born Khoo was reportedly back in Malaysia for a family visit and work commitments when she fell ill.

During her lifetime, Khoo dabbled in writing, publishing, TV and radio, most notably her popular Saturday Feeding Time podcast for BFM.

A private funeral for Khoo will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, The Star Online added.

No other details were released at time of writing.
