JAKARTA, April 10 — A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck near the south coast of Indonesia's West Papua on Thursday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 kilometres, it said.

GFZ had initially pegged the earthquake at 6. There were no immediate reports of damage after the earthquake. — Reuters
