KABUL, April 30 — At least five people were killed and three injured after gunmen attacked a mosque during prayer time in Afghanistan’s Herat province, the spokesperson for the region’s governor’s office said today.

The attack happened last evening and the dead included a woman and a child, Mawlawi Nesar Ahmad Alyes said. — Reuters
