BAGHDAD, March 3 — The semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of northern Iraq will hold parliamentary elections on June 10, the regional presidency said in a statement today.

Iraqi Kurdistan President Nechirvan Barzani issued a decree today and approved the date, said the statement.

The vote should elect both a parliament and a president for Kurdish regions which have gained self-rule in 1991. — Reuters
