JERUSALEM, Feb 26 — The Israeli military said its fighter jets struck Hezbollah air defences in Lebanon’s Beqaa valley today in response to the downing of one of its it drones.

The military said it would continue operations to defend Israel from Iran-backed Hezbollah, including within Lebanese air space. — Reuters
