JAKARTA, Oct 27 — An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck Sumba region in Indonesia today, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was earlier estimated at magnitude 5.5 but was later revised to 5.3.

It was at a depth of 52km, GFZ said. — Reuters
