US Geological Survey: Magnitude 6.5 earthquake strikes Sola, Vanuatu region

NEW YORK, Aug 16 — An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck the Sola, Vanuatu region late today, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake was estimated at a depth of 193 km, USGS added. — Reuters
