GENEVA, July 11 — Pakistan’s foreign minister said today that the desecration of the Quran amounted to the incitement of religious hatred as the UN Human Rights Council debated a contentious draft resolution in the wake of a Koran burning in Sweden last month.

"We must see this clearly for what it is: incitement to religious hatred, discrimination and attempts to provoke violence,” Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari told the council via video link. — Reuters
