EDINBURGH, March 27 — Humza Yousaf today vowed to lead "the generation that delivers independence” after winning the contest to replace Nicola Sturgeon as leader of Scotland’s devolved government.

”The people of Scotland need independence now, more than ever before, and we will be the generation that delivers independence,” Yousaf said in his victory speech. — AFP
