WASHINGTON, Feb 27 — US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said today the United States would contribute more than US$444 million (RM1.99 bilion) to the humanitarian response in Yemen, where an eight-year war has left most of its population needing help.

The contribution brings the total US contribution to Yemen since the start of the conflict to US$5.4 billion, Blinken said in a statement. — Reuters
