Shallow earthquake of magnitude 6.4 strikes in China, 280 km from Hotan, USGS reports

RESTON, June 26 — A shallow earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck 279 km south-east of Hotan in China today, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km, USGS added. — Reuters
