Singapore confirms 799 new coronavirus cases

SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) today announced 799 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of infections here to 14,423.

The vast majority of the new patients are work permit holders residing in dormitories housing migrant workers.

Of the new cases, 14 cases are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents.

"We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight,” MOH added. — TODAY
