BEIRUT, Aug 24 — Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a tourist bus travelling near Jordan’s ancient city of Petra but no one was hurt, the government-owned newspaper al-Rai and Ammon news agency said today.

Al-Rai, quoting a security official, said no passengers were on board but the bus was damaged by the gunfire, al-Rai said. Ammon said the bus carried tour guides.
