SINGAPORE, May 11 — Thirty-three people have been injured following a collision involving two buses at a bus-stop along Jalan Jurong Kechil this morning.
The police said it was alerted to the incident at around 9am.
The injured have been sent to three hospitals — Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, National University Hospital, as well as Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Details of their condition are unclear, though they were conscious when they were sent to the hospital.
Pictures from social media showed the buses — one from SBS Transit, and another from SMRT — smashing into each other at the bus stop, which is opposite the German European School.
The windscreen of the SBS Transit bus — whose service is unknown — was shattered, while the back of the SMRT bus service 970 was hit.
