Singaporean dead in West Coast road accident

SINGAPORE, Oct 28 — A road accident that happened late last night left one man dead, and two others hospitalised.
TODAY understands that the accident involved electric bicycles and a container truck.
The accident took place at the junction of Pandan Crescent and West Coast Highway, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which added it received a call to a road traffic accident at 11.59pm last night.
The SCDF dispatched two ambulances to the scene.
One man was declared dead on scene, while two other men were warded at the National University Hospital.
Of the two, one suffered serious injuries, while the other had leg injuries. — TODAY
