Two men swimming into Singapore arrested

SINGAPORE, March 10 — Two men swimming in the sea off Senoko have been arrested for unlawful entry into Singapore.

The duo, both aged 25, were detected at about 3.45am yesterday, the police said in a news release. 

The Police Coast Guard immediately deployed land and sea resources and intercepted the swimmers 10 minutes later.

They did not have any form of identification, including travel documents.

They were subsequently arrested for the offence of unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act. — TODAY
