SINGAPORE, Sept 11 — Two more men have been arrested in connection with the Pearls Centre murder and will be charged in court today.
The pair were arrested in Malaysia in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), following a warrant of arrest issued by the State Courts.
The men, aged 20 and 22, are believed to be involved in the murder of a 47-year-old man whose body was found in the multi-storey car park of Pearls Centre on Sunday afternoon.
They are both Malaysian and were extradited to Singapore on Tuesday.
Mr S Krisnan Value is believed to have died between 12.37am and 1.13am on Sunday. Two suspects, Thiagu Muniandy, 23, and Sunder Rangasamy, 27, also Malaysians, have already been arrested and charged with the murder.
“The (Singapore Police Force) would like to thank the PDRM, in particular their Criminal Investigation Department and the Johor State Police, for their strong and unequivocal support for this case,” the police said in a statement. — Today
