SINGAPORE, Aug 31 — Two more men have been charged yesterday in connection with the death of a 26-year-old foreign worker at Pandan Loop.

Karthikeyan Prabakaran and Chellappan Sankar allegedly committed murder by causing the death of Murugaiya Suresh Kumar on August 23. The two men have been remanded for further investigations.

Another accused, a 26-year-old Indian national, Thiruppathi Veerapperumal, was charged with murder on August 27.

The police had received a call for assistance at about 10.30pm on August 23, and paramedics who arrived later pronounced the man dead at the scene at about 10.53pm. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said previously that Kumar had sustained physical trauma on his head and neck, with deformities found on his left hand. — Today
