FEBRUARY 18 — We are floundering as a nation, caught in a quicksand trap and slowly spiraling down into death.
This seems to be a ‘death wish’ on the part of our leaders. While the general public struggle with basic needs and spiraling costs, the leaders are busy with playing political games. The survival of our country is more important than the survival of any political party but this view is not shared by our leaders.
The authorities continue to practice Distraction Politics. Using the issues of race and religion to distract us from the fundamental issues of corruption and unequal distribution of wealth.
The authorities practice a Pocket Economy, assisting the transfer of wealth into the pockets of family and friends. Corruption is our primary national enemy but the authorities speak of Christians, Chinese and the opposition.
We want to build our nation, not destroy or rape its resources. We want to share our country’s wealth with all its people, not a select few. We need systems that work, not ones put up for show. We need real Leaders. Genuine leaders who represent and care for all the peoples of Malaysia. Leaders who lead by the example of their own lives.
Leaders who are not afraid to speak up when racist idiots surface or religious bigotry and oppression is expressed. Leaders who share in the struggles and hopes of the average person and live simple lives, not excessive extravagance.
Currently we have no one to lead us forward. We are adrift as a nation. Tossed like waves by noisy individuals promoting their own selfish interests. We need strong leaders to rescue our country. Our wish for our country is that true leaders emerge, ones who can take us forward.
Sadly there seems to be none on the horizon. All the government wannabes are seriously lacking in moral, ethical and spiritual caliber. How long will we continue in our petty ways as a country? How long will the poor languish while the rich sons and daughters of our leaders sip their exotic brews?
We need strong leaders.
One driven by the love of God and the people, not party, power or wealth.
Woe is Malaysia, crumbling and decaying as a nation.
Woe is Malaysia, oppressed by its own people.
Woe is Malaysia, a nation with little hope.
The time has come for all of us to boycott those who promote racism, corruption, religious bigotry.
We must unite as Malaysians and regain our trust and bonds of love with each other.
Let us do what our authorities are most afraid of, become one united people.
