Malaysia Airlines starts A350-900 service from KL to Heathrow

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 — Malaysia Airlines today commenced its inaugural A350-900 service from Kuala Lumpur to London with a send-off ceremony at the KL International Airport (KLIA).

MH4 departed the KLIA at 9.15am and will arrive at London-Heathrow at 3.25pm later today, the national carrier said in a statement.

Malaysia Airlines chief executive officer, Izham Ismail and chief commercial officer, Arved von zur Muehlen were present at KLIA to greet the 255 passengers on MH4.

The latest addition to the Malaysia Airlines fleet, the A350 has a total capacity of 286 seats of four in first class, 35 in business class and 247 in economy class.

The aircraft is equipped with Malaysia Airlines’ latest cabin products, including more spacious seats in the economy class, an all-new inflight entertainment experience and in- flight connectivity. — Bernama
