Conde Nast Traveller ranks Shangri-La as top hotel in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 — Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur has just been voted as one of the top hotels in Asia by the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2017.

With a score of 93.35, the hotel was the top winner in Kuala Lumpur with a ranking of 15, placing itself among other stellar hotels in Bhutan, Indonesia, South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

"We are proud and honoured to have been ranked as the top hotel in Kuala Lumpur by Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2017,” said Area General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur Manfred Weber.

The Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as "the best of the best of travel”.

Over 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, voting on a record-breaking 7,320 hotels and resorts, 610 cities, 225 islands, 468 cruise ships, 158 airlines, and 195 airports for this year’s awards.
