KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 — Great news for those who have yet to pounce on Malaysia Airlines’ Here, There, Everywhere sale as you’ll now have another day to make your bookings.
The airline has decided to extend the turnaround sale till midnight August 25 thanks to the massive response received. "The campaign has been so popular that we have broken the internet!” said Malaysia Airlines chief executive officer Peter Bellew.
"Our loyal customers have an extra day to buy more great value seats on London. It has been a super year for the airline and we want to celebrate with our customers. Bookings are flooding in right across the world on this unique sale. ”
Highlights of the sale include Kuala Lumpur to London on economy from RM999 one-way and Perth from RM379 one-way, which would explain why the booking systems enjoyed nearly five times the normal traffic.
With a the travel period of September 2, 2016 to March 8, 2017, Malaysia Airlines has also added 10,000 more seats on its London route, with the fares being all-inclusive which means you won’t be paying for hidden charges.
Also thrown in are a generous baggage allowance of 30kg and meals without any credit card charges.
Other highlights from this sale include travel from Kota Kinabalu to Shanghai from RM279 one-way, Hong Kong from RM339 one-way and Tokyo from RM499 one-way. Customers can also expect to pay as low as RM99 one-way on Economy Class for domestic destinations.
