TAIPEI, Feb 22 — A three-storey high house that is entirely upside-down attracted hundreds of people wanting to take a look in downtown Taipei.

The house was furnished in the American Country style with real-size chairs, tables, a toilet bowl and even a car stuck to the ceiling.

Construction was delayed by constant rain in January, but workers were in full swing to meet the deadline.

The house finally opened its doors to the public one week later than scheduled on February 6, and will be open for display until July 22.

The family-sized house including a living room, a bathroom, a garage and other rooms has about 334 square metres (3595 sq. ft) of floor space, organizers said, adding that the whole process of construction took around two months and cost around US$600,000 (RM2.5 million). — Reuters
