DUBAI, Nov 6 ― We’re not sure what it’s going to be like since the main premise was that of an ill-fated voyage, but there’s a  “Titanic” theme park in the works.

The upcoming attraction, which is being created in tandem with Twentieth Century Fox, will be part of one of several theme parks planned to open in Dubai. The park is scheduled to open in 2018 and is projected to cost as much as $850 million.

The Titanic-themed attractions will share space with rides based on other Fox entities like “Ice Age” and “Rio”, “Planet of the Apes”, “Aliens and Predator”, “Night at the Museum”, “The Simpsons” and “Sons of Anarchy”.

The creators of the project are keeping mum on what exactly the Titanic-land will look like, but according to Variety it will feature “an immersive experience that includes motion theatre simulators and will allow you to experience what it was like to be on the Titanic in an exciting way”.

Err, yup because everybody has always wondered what it’s really like be aboard a sinking ship ― not! Let’s just hope the attractions will focus on the lighter side of things like maybe painting sessions.
