Fast & Furious ride headed to Universal Orlando Resort

LOS ANGELES, Aug 26 — A Fast & Furious-themed ride will be racing over to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida in 2017.

After debuting at Universal Studios Hollywood in California this summer, the Fast & Furious Supercharged thrill ride will also open on the east coast, at sister site Universal Orlando Resort.

Built to simulate high-speed car chases that exceed 120 miles an hour (193 km/hour), the immersive experience features 3D-HD imagery projected onto an world’s longest and most expansive 360-degree screen.

The hydraulic, motion-based ride will include an original storyline to accompany the special effects.

A sprawling backlot will also feature some of the car props from the film. — AFP-Relaxnews
