LOS ANGELES, May 18 — Do you dream of travelling the world and being paid for it? This could be your chance, as Lonely Planet has launched its annual travel writing scholarship in association with Worldnomads.com.
The competition offers three budding writers the chance to take a 10-day road trip of their choice across the US, with a US$3,000 stipend for expenses. Winners will attend a three-day travel writing course in San Francisco led by Lonely Planet author John Vlahides before setting off on their solo adventures. Along the way they will publish updates to their Instagram accounts and write about their experiences upon their return.
