BARCELONA, April 13 — Eclectic as the sights and sounds the world over could be over the past week, few could have been as discrete and yet symbiotic as that of Japanese musician and artist Ei Wada in Barcelona.
Ei Wada performs as “Braun tube jazz band” as a live show with unconventional instruments and new scenic experiences that will take place as an introduction to Sonar+D in Barcelona.
Sonar+D is an international conference, to be held from June 18 to 20, that brings together a combination of activities with a common theme: the relationship between creativity and technology, and the digital transformation of the cultural industries involved.
Ei Wada gave a foretaste of the experience on Thursday.
Below are other sights, sounds and experiences over the week:

The term Nabakalebara is an ancient ritual associated with most of the Jagannath Temples when the idols of Lord Jagannath — Balabhadra, Subhadra and Sudarshan — are replaced by a new set of idols.
A year of Ashadha of the Hindu calendar is auspicious for conducting the ceremony and this usually occurs every 12 to 19 years.
The Deities are made from a special type of Neem wood known as Daru Bramha and preparations for the ceremony start in the month of Chaitra.
The last ceremony was done in 1996 and more than three million devotees are expected to visit the temple during the Nabakalevara of 2015.
