PUTRAJAYA, Oct 14 — Malaysia Airlines (MAS) today launched a new Enrich ‘Government of Malaysia’ (GOM) loyalty card only for government staff.

The Enrich GOM card, bearing the government emblem, allows government staff to enjoy enhanced travel benefits and privileges.

Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa, launched the card here today.

MAS Group chief executive officer, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, said card members would enjoy more rewards and recognition than other members.

“The exclusive benefits include bonus miles for new GOM members, or when they convert from the normal Enrich card, discounts for the Golden Lounge Privilege Programme and fast qualification to the next Elite tiers which gives more rewards,” he said at the launch of the card here today.

Ahmad Jauhari said currently, Enrich GOM has 25,000 Enrich GOM members and MAS hoped to increase the number with the card for civil servants by holding roadshows at the various ministries.

“The government, as a corporate client, has been on a journey with MAS for a long time and this card is our way of saying ‘Thank You’,” he said.
