34 countries, regions issue travel alert for Thailand

BANGKOK, Dec 2 — A total of 34 countries and regions have issued travel warnings for Thailand where political tension has run high, Xinhua news agency reported.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand said China, the US, France, Australia and Japan were among those countries and regions issuing travel alert to their citizens.

Anti-government protests in Bangkok continued today with protestors attempting to seize more state offices in their bid to topple the government. — Bernama
