KOTA BARU, July 5 – Community airline, Firefly, is offering a special package with a leading hotel here to enable more people especially Muslims to experience the atmosphere when ushering in the month of Ramadan in Kelantan.

Firefly chief commercial officer Azman Ahmad said the package, which would go on for the whole month of Ramadan, offered prices as low as RM269 for the Subang-Kota Baharu flight.

“The price we are offering will start from RM269, RM389 and RM429 for a three day-two night accommodation at Hotel GRV, all for Standard rooms,” he said at the launch of the package in conjunction with Iftar Ramadan here today.

Also present was GRV Hotel General Manager Vincent Chua.

However, Azman said the RM269 package was excluding the buffet for Iftar and pre-dawn meal (sahur) at the hotel.

For the RM389 offer, customers can enjoy the Iftar buffet and sahur while the RM429 package will be inclusive of transfer from the hotel to the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Pengkalan Chepa.

Azman said booking for the flights was from yesterday until July 30 for flights from July 12 to Aug 22.

“During the month of Ramadan many are interested to come to Kelantan to experience the atmosphere during fasting in the state which is interesting with its scrumptious food and performing the Tarawih prayers at the courtyard of the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chua said during the fasting month the hotel is offering Ramadan buffet at RM38++ for adults and RM19++ for children between five and 12 years old.

“We are also offering a new concept by having a Ramadan bazaar located near the swimming pool where guests can buy food using coupon system.

“There will be 15 food stalls that will open from 4.30 pm till night,” he said. – Bernama
