iflix launches service in Myanmar

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 — Internet tv service provider, iflix, has launched in Myanmar, solidifying its dominance over the Asian region.

Country Manager for iflix Myanmar Adeana Greenlee said the company aims to redefine consumers in the country enjoy via entertainment with groundbreaking features and a seamless mobile streaming experience.

"As the fourth fastest-growing mobile market, Myanmar is without question one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic countries. We are thrilled to introduce our first-of-its-kind service here,” she said in a statement today.

iflix is now available in 10 markets across Southeast Asia, with recent launches in Pakistan and Vietnam.

Additionally, iflix announced its joint venture with Zain, iflix Arabia, to make the service available in the Middle East and North Africa. — Bernama
