Asus presents new smartphones at Computex trade show

TAIPEI, May 30 — Asus showed off a lineup of products at the Computex trade show here today including three new Android smartphones.

The ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra all feature a streamlined metallic finish, with the Deluxe claiming to feature the first aluminum unibody phone without antenna lines. It offers a 5.7-in HD display, a 23-megapixel back camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a fingerprint scanner.

The ZenFone Ultra boasts similar specs, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, nearly 4GB of RAM, a 23-megapixel camera and a fingerprint scanner. Measuring in slightly larger than the Deluxe, it fits squarely into phablet territory at 6.8 inches.

Coming in at 5.5 inches, the ZenFone 3 is the smallest of the three, with a 16-megapixel camera, and up to 4GB of RAM. — AFP Relaxnews
