SAN DIEGO, March 12 — A new update for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android users is now available and Adobe recommends downloading and installing it as soon as possible

The latest patch — update version 21.0.0.182 — addresses 23 separate potential exploits including one that, according to Adobe, is already being used by hackers for nefarious reasons.

Although a number of major websites from Facebook to Google are phasing out Flash, it is still used widely online, predominantly in web ads. Therefore, vigilance is crucial, as is downloading and installing the update sooner rather than later.
