NEW YORK, Nov 18 — Available from November 19 after a rush of rave reviews the previous week, expansive fantasy adventure “Dragon Age: Inquisition” offers a sampling of locations and encounters in a 2 minute launch trailer.
Developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the adventure has been hailed as a long-awaited return to form for the series that was met with critical and consumer acclaim in 2009 before suffering a dip with 2011’s “Dragon Age II.”
A sprawling, graphically superior world to explore, sophisticated political relationships to negotiate, and a multiplayer mode that invites players to come back for more after plunging 100-plus hours into the main campaign have been extolled among its qualities.
But part of the game’s portrayal of interpersonal relationships has led publisher EA to pull the title from distribution in India, so as to avoid falling foul of the country’s obscenity laws. — AFP-Relaxnews
