NEW YORK, July 17 — David Rose, the author of ‘Enchanted Objects: Design, Human Desire and the Internet of Things’, sees a future where we can all live like wizards. For Rose, ‘enchanted objects’, as written about in his book, is the preferable way to relate to digital technology, the other three being ‘terminal (screen) world,’ ‘prosthetics,’ and ‘social robots.’ According to him, enchanted objects are “ordinary things, made extraordinary” .— New York Times
