KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 — Tickets for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4 are now on sale, with Malaysian fans able to get three-day passes from RM200.

According to ticket prices published by the Bahrain International Circuit, Malaysian citizens with a MyKad can choose from six ticket categories, with the RM200 G Hillstand option the cheapest, while international fans will pay between US$218.90 (RM895) and US$566.05 for three-day tickets.

The race will mark Formula 1’s return to Malaysia for the first time since 2017, with the event being held as a replacement for the Bahrain Grand Prix, which could not take place as originally scheduled.

For Malaysian citizens, the three-day ticket prices are RM2,083.40 for the Main Grandstand, RM1,386 for the K1 Grandstand, RM1,291.40 for the F Grandstand, RM809.60 for the B and C Hillstands, and RM200 for the G Hillstand.

For international fans, the Main Grandstand is priced at US$566.05, followed by the F Grandstand at US$376.39, K1 Grandstand at US$350.13, and B and C Hillstands at US$218.90.

The grandstand tickets provide seated and rooftop viewing, while the B, C and G Hillstands are grass or open-air areas.

All prices include tax, while international ticket transactions will be processed in Bahraini dinars at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of purchase.

The tickets cover the race weekend from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4.

Children aged three to six are entitled to a 25 per cent discount, although the discount does not apply to the G Hillstand.

Children below three years old can enter free of charge but will not be allocated a seat.

Tickets are currently available through the official Bahrain International Circuit ticketing platform.
