KOTA BARU, April 17 — Kelantan FC has wielded the axe on two foreign imports and a local player, after a mutual agreement to part ways, although the season started only in February.

Kelantan FC in a statement said the contracts of foreign imports Cristian Rontini of Italian-Filipino parentage and Carli De Murga as well as Shafiq Shaharudin were terminated.

"The club has reached an agreement with all three players (mutual agreement) to end their contracts early. The club would like to register its appreciation for their services,” said a statement posted on the Facebook of Kelantan FC, today.

Kelantan FC are currently just one spot from the bottom of the Super League table with four points from eight matches. — Bernama
