KUALA NERUS, April 3 — Terengganu FC (TFC) head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner hopes the Turtles will continue their winning momentum when they take on Kelantan FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium (SSMZA) tomorrow night.
He said that all his players need to work hard and avoid making silly mistakes to ensure that they secure three points.
"After the winning last Friday, we immediately look into the next match against Kelantan.
"I hope our players can keep the momentum and do better to collect another three points from an important match tomorrow,” he said when met at the team’s training session at SSMZA in Gong Badak here.
Meantime, Steinbruckner also urged his players to take care of their health because of their relatively tight match schedule in the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the team’s key import player Jordan Mintah hopes to recover from an injury and get to play tomorrow.
After scoring his first goal of the season in the match against Kelantan United FC last Friday, Mintah admitted that he is getting more excited to help his squad win.
"I always work hard and give my 100 per cent to the team.
"Of course I am very happy to score my first goal last week. But it doesn’t matter who scores the goals...most important is to let the team win,” he said.
TFC are currently in eighth place in the Super League after collecting seven points from six matches while Kelantan FC are eleventh with four points. — Bernama
