JOHOR BARU, Feb 27 — Felda United FC thumped hosts Johor Darul Ta’zim II 4-1 in Premier League action at the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council Stadium here, last night.
Felda United started off on the right foot, scoring the first goal in the 7th minute through Gilbero Valdenesio Fortunato, while Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor put in the second, two minutes later.
However, JDT II pulled back a goal in the 57th minute through D. Saarvindran, who scored from a corner kick by Nicolas Alberto Fernandez.
Felda United then piled on the pressure on the hosts as Thiago Augusto Fernandes scored the visitor’s third in the 67th minute.
Felda United head coach B. Satiananthan’s decision to send out Christie Jayaseelan in the 83rd minute paid off when the player scored the team’s fourth goal of the night, two minutes later. — Bernama
