Sabah maintain second placing in Premier League

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 — Sabah maintained second placing in the Premier League despite a 1-1 draw against their neighbour, Sarawak at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu tonight.

The results saw Sabah garnered eight points after four matches, one point behind the leader of the league Felda United.

In the match, Croatian striker Mateo Roskam helped Sarawak to stay ahead in the 19th minute before Hector Ramus sent the equaliser in the 53rd minute.

Earlier, Sabah had the chance to score a second goal but the penalty kick from South Korean striker, Lee Gil Hoon at the end of the match missed the goal.

Meanwhile, at the Shah Alam Stadium, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) won for the first time this season after defeating Penang 1-0 through Shahurain Abu Samah in the 60th minute. — Bernama
