KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 — Malaysian lawn bowlers won three gold medals and one bronze medal at the 12th Asian Lawn Bowling Championship in New Delhi, India.

National lawn bowler Siti Zalina Ahmad won the gold medal in the women’s singles after beating a lawn bowler from Singapore, 21-14 yesterday.

Muhammad Hizlee Abdul Rais-Fairul Izwan won the gold medal in the men’s pairs after beating a pair from Brunei, 20-19.

Auni Fathiah Kamis, Nur Ain Nabilah Tarmizi, Zuraini Khalid and Azlina Arshad won a gold medal in the women’s fours after beating the team from Hong Kong, 20-10.

Mohammad Soufi Rusli, Zulhilmie Redzuan and Mohammad Syamil Syazwan Ramli won the bronze medal in the men’s triples after beating the trio from India in  the semi-final match. — Bernama
