Pandelela and Jun Hoong win silver medal in Beijing

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — National women’s diving pair, Pandelela Rinong and Cheong Jun Hoong won the silver medal at FINA Diving World Series 2017 held in Beijing, today.

The official website www.fina.org said the Malaysian pair won the medal after collecting 316.08 points in the women’s 10m synchronised platform event on the first day of the tournament.

Chang Yani/Ren Qia of China won the gold medal with 340.26 points while Kim Kuk Hyang/Kim Mi Rae of North Korea won the bronze after collecting 313.92 points.

Pandelela/Jun Hoong were the silver medallists at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in the women’s 10m platform synchronised last year. — Bernama
