KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 18 — National badminton men’s doubles hopeful, Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong have advanced to the finals of the Dubai World Superseries being held in United Arab Emirates.

Early this morning, the pair took only 37 minutes to trounce China’s Chai Biao-Hong Wei, 21-18; 21-16. 

They will today face Japan’s Takeshi Kamura-Keigo Sonoda who defeated Mads Conrad-Petersen-Made Pieler Kolding from Denmark, 21-17; 21-19.

For the record, V Shem-Wee Kiong had only won one of three matches they played against the Japanese pair who are currently ranked world number five in their category. — Bernama
