Annuar Musa says mulling bid for FAM presidency

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 25 ― Former FA of Kelantan Tan Sri Annuar Musa is willing to offer himself for the FA of Malaysia president’s post to replace Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

Annuar, who is also a former deputy president of FAM, however, said if there were more qualified individuals like Tengku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) Tengku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, he would not vie for the post.

"Of course I am keen on the post...but I feel that if FAM can be in better hands like TMJ, there is no need for me to join the fray. TMJ is more than qualified... he can bring about the much needed change for Malaysian football.

"But on the condition TMJ does not shoulder the task alone, he has to form a good and sincere team. However, if TMJ does not go for the post as he has stressed and if I am asked, I am willing to consider,” he told Bernama.
