‘Red hot’ Rosberg hopes to win more races

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 ― Mercedes AMG Petronas driver, Nico Rosberg hopes to win a few more races after recording a hat-trick of wins in the last three races.

Rosberg told fans at "Meet the Drivers” session at Petronas petrol kiosk in Jalan Kolam Ayer Lama, he wanted to focus on the Formula One (F1) Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit (SIC), this weekend.

"I will do my best and try harder to achieve 1 minutes 34.223 seconds, Juan Pablo Montoya's (Williams) 2004 best lap record in Sepang. Nothing is impossible,” he said.

Rosberg produced an impressive display in the Singapore Grand Prix to win his eighth race of the season and reclaim the lead from teammate Lewis Hamilton, who finished third behind Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing.

Meanwhile, local fan Karim Ahmad, 28, said he was lucky to meet with his favourite driver, Rosberg and managed to snap a photograph with him, today.

"I never miss F1 every year and I surely will join and support my favourite team and driver at Sepang this weekend. I hope Rosberg can win again,” he said.

Meanwhile, Adham Che Wan Azlan and Mohd Aiman Haris Mohd Mustakim, 12 respectively said they are a big fans of Hamilton.

"Last year, Hamilton wished Happy Birthday to me. It is my dream to meet him and I am so lucky to be here today,” said Adham from Kajang.

Both of them managed to get their caps autographed by the drivers. ― Bernama
