KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 ― Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin today held a meeting with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) football club owner Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who is also the Regent of Johor in Johor Baru, today.
Tunku Ismail via JDT's official Facebook page “The Southern Tigers” said among the things achieved in the meeting were discussing the direction, sharing of opinions, as well as finding ways to improve local football and programmes involving youth.
The meeting, he said, also allowed Khairy to get a clearer picture about football in Johor, especially JDT's project and youth programmes expected to be implemented in the state.
Earlier, Tunku Ismail, who is also the Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) , took Khairy on a tour to see the facilities owned by JDT such as the training centre, gymnasium and an indoor field in Padang Seri Gelam, Johor Baru. ― Bernama
