SINGAPORE, June 10 — The men’s hockey team beat Myanmar 2-0 to march into the final of the Singapore SEA Games hockey competition with an unbeaten record.

Despite coach Arul Selvaraj fielding his reserves and junior players, they were still good enough to beat Myanmar comfortably although the score might not be a reflection of the Malaysian team’s dominance at the Sengkang Hockey Stadium, here today.

Malaysia who are the defending champions, took the lead through Nor Azrul Abdul Rahman in the 28th minute while Aminuddin Mohd Zain made it 2-0 in the 68th minute to ensure all three points.

In the final on Friday, Malaysia will face Singapore who booked their berth after beating Thailand 4-0.
