KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 — Three friends were charged in the Magistrate’s Court here today with offences related to the recent 2015 Malaysia FA Cup final.
Trader Ewan Suratin, 49, graphic designer Lee Kok Nam, 55, and trader Muhammad Faris Mahassan, 25, claimed trial before Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin.
Ewan is accused of falsifying a ticket for the match, at Strawberry Graphic Design, Jalan Nyonya off Jalan Pudu here at 10am on May 21.
Lee is accused of making six palettes for printing fake football match tickets, at Lee Brothers Graphic Studio, Jalan Nyonya Off Jalan Pudu here at 12 noon on May 22.
Muhammad Faris is accused of inducing student Afi Ikhwan Mohd Zulkifli, 25, into depositing RM5,400 into his Maybank account after leading him to believe that the 165 match tickets he gave to the victim were genuine.
He allegedly committed the offence at Stadium Bukit Jalil here at 2 pm on May 23.
The court set RM2,500 bail with one surety for each of the accused, and June 17 for re-mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Ezrene Zakariah appeared for the prosecution while the trio were represented by counsel Vincent Chew Zi Xian. — Bernama
