JOHOR BARU, March 8 — The national squad (Harimau Malaya) will start their centralised training on March 19, to prepare for a friendly match against Oman.

National coach Dollah Salleh said the Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) decision to reschedule FA Cup matches to March 17, 18 and 21, would enable the team to train longer.

“The team management had requested to extend the training period,” he told reporters when met after attending the launch of the UDA FC Club house, here today by Johor Baru Member of Parliament Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad.
